Abstract:
This is a picture book with only the words Ra, Ma, La and Ha. The pictures tell the story of a boy and his parents who have a crop which they are planting. The pictures depicts the growth of the crops.

Abstract:
As duck drives home in his truck, he hits a rock which leaves him stuck in the muck. Frog first tries to help, then sheep and finally goat. Working together the four animals are able to get the truck out.

Abstract:
The Baker, Shoemaker, and Tailor all wanted to go to the fair to sell their goods, but had trouble making it there. After their donkey collapsed, they had to pull the cart. They were all rude to each other, but when they were all faced with the same problem they figured out a helpful solution.

Abstract:
The Smedley football team was having a horrible season. They hadn't won a game all season. Miss Nelson comes up with a great idea to whip the team into shape by dressing up as a substitute coach. After a few practices with "Coach Swamp", the team won the biggest game of the year.

One morning Kumak and his family pack their fishing gear for an antarctic ice fishing adventure. With patience, the family fishes until Kumak finally catches a strong fish. 25. Bishop, Clair Huchet//Wiese, Kurt (1971). The truffle pig. New York: Coward, McCann and Geoghegan, Inc..

Abstract:
Pierre and his family are very poor. They work together and save their money to buy a piglet, Marcel. Pierre and Marcel become good friends and when it comes time to kill Marcel, they run away together. Marcel discovers truffles, an expensive food, and becomes "The Truffle Pig". No longer is the family poor or hungry.
