Abstract:
On the day his daddy leaves town, Danny wakes up early to write down a secret question, then he slips it into his pocket. He shows and talks about the secret question to his teacher, his mom, his friend, and even his dad. Each person tries to reassure Danny that his parent's divorce is not his fault. Danny's secret question flies away in the wind, but he still keeps asking other questions -- and he always will.

Abstract:
A young boy and his family are living through the Great Depression of 1932 When he learns that his father does not have a job, he gets a job with his friend selling newspapers to help make money for his family. He sells all of his papers outside of Yankee Stadium due to the popularity of Babe Ruth and his stories in the paper. He even gets to meet the Babe!

Abstract:
Ever since Ludlow was born, he has been a big grump who never laughs or smiles. Suddenly he begins having the funniest dreams in the world and laughs hysterically all night long. His laughter becomes so contagious that a local radio station decides to broadcast Ludlow's laughter around the world. One night, Ludlow did not laugh in his sleep, but he did wake up with a huge smile on his face!

The disease HIV is explained in this gentle and descriptive book about a young girl who has a father with HIV. The facts about the virus are described in a way that children can understand. It helps children to know that a person with HIV can lead a normal life.

Abstract:
After a stroke of bad luck, Tooley calls up on the "Friendly Folk" to help him improve his luck. When Hooks comes to the door, Tooley invites him in the house despite warnings from his cat. Hooks takes advantage of Tooley and makes his luck even worse than before-until the house gobbaleen scares Hooks away.

Chin Yu Min is married to a wealthy man. She takes advantage of their wealth and is very mean to people. Her husbands dies, and she is now poor. She later finds him and has now learned to appreciate her good fortunes.
