At the hospital a lady doctor cares for Monster; which is not an easy task due to his adnormally large size. The doctor determines that his foot is sprained and with the help of the children she is able to find a suitable crutch for Monster.

Their worries are laid to rest when the rooster devises a plan that leads to the first ever barnyard fiesta, complete with chips and salsa, guacamole and nachos. Their celebration is halted however, when they can find no more supplies on the farm. Is someone else on the farm planning a fiesta of their own?

Farmer Goff has a turkey that he wants to enter in the county fair turkey contest to win a blue ribbon. Sam the turkey likes Mrs. Goff's pie and eats it all the time. Farmer Goff is upset because his turkey will not win a blue ribbon at the fair. But in the end Farmer Goff and Sam still win a blue ribbon, but in the pie eating contest.

All the prize potatoes at the county fair have snuck out to ride the Zip!Hackemup the chef realizes that he needs potatoes in his stew. He spies the spuds and bags them in his burlap sack. But, because the potatoes don't have ears, they don't listen to Hackemup. They escape as the chef is cooking and the potatoes are once again free and brave potatoes.

One summer, a brother and sister decide to enter the country fair. They enter their calf, gander, and strawberry jam. After a big day of exploring the fair, the children head home. At the end of the week, the children are happy to find that their animals and jam have won awards.

Hannah and her family come to America from Taiwan to gain freedom. For them to become Americans and have their freedom, they must obtain their greencards. Hannah and her family's journey of over 2 years, encompasses many trials. Hannah and her family feel relief, excitement and prode as they finally receive their greencards and are now able to call American their home.
