Abstract:
Through comic book style illustrations, Amy of Eddybrook Lodge encounters many exciting adventures with her best friend. During the summer between her ninth and tenth birthday, Amy and her friend learn many lessons about life. The most important ones are that love doesn't solve everything and even heroines sometimes need help.

2. Willems, Mo (2004). Knuffle bunny. New York: Hyperion.

Abstract:
Trixie, her daddy, and her trusty bunny companion are heading to the laundry mat. While there, Trixie helps her daddy sort the clothes. Unfortunately, Trixie’s bunny becomes part of the dryer pile. Trixie’s dad doesn’t realize that the bunny is in the dryer. In trying to get his attention Trixie says her first word. In the end, she and both parents run to retrieve Knuffle Bunny.
