Young Sara is forced to attend Miss Minchin's select seminary for young girls in London when her father gets shipped off to war. Miss Minchin, the director of the seminary becomes a bit apprehensive about Sara's stay with them because her father said that she is to have the very best of everything. When a note arrives that says Sara's father died, things change for the worse. Poor Sara is forced to live the life of a slave. She eventually meets up with an Indian gentleman who helps her to gain her life back.

This is a behind-the-scene story about milk. It all starts with the cows, and they must be well fed. After they eat, the cows are hooked up to the milking machine. When they have been milked, the milk truck comes to take away the milk to clean it and make it ready to drink.

Abstract:
Little Baggit tells the innkeeper that the king is at the door. When the innkeeper looks out and sees that it is just an old man in a patched shirt, he doesn't believe it is the king. Little Baggit gives the king food, drink, a coat, a hat, and a donkey because the king promises him that he'll come back for him the next day- and he does.

20. Cox, Judy (1999). Rabbit pirates: A tale of the spinach man. Orlando: Harcourt Brace and Company.

Abstract:
The Spinach Main is a French cafe owned by two rabbits, and former pirates, Monsieur Lapin and Monsieur Blanc. When a fox begins dining at the cafe, business begins to slow. Troubles escalate further when the fox makes multiple attempts to capture and eat the two. Realizing the trouble their business was in, the two devise a plan to keep the fox out of their hair forever.

A young girl named Jamela is upset when hearing the news from her mother that they will be moving to a new house. When it’s time to leave, everyone wonders where Jamela is and begin to search for her everywhere. Suddenly, she jumps out of a box from the back of the truck and agrees to go with her mother. On reaching her new house, she starts to like it and settles down in her room.

25. Garrison, Christian (1976). Flim and flam and the big cheese. Scarsdale, NY: Bradbury Press.

Abstract:
Two brothers, one fat and one thin, live together. Flam eats all the food and leaves nothing for Flim. So Flim decides to trick Flam into drinking the pond by placing a piece of cheese in the middle of it. Flam drinks the whole pond not realizing the cheese was the reflection of the moon. When Flam cannot move, Flim eats a very satisfying meal.
