Use a digest to locate citations for court opinions when you know the name of the case. The Government Information and Law Department has digests that cover federal and Ohio courts. These are listed below. Choose a digest that covers the court in which your case was decided. If you do not know the court, you may have to check all the available digests.
Each digest has volumes called "Table of Cases" (usually near the end of the set). These volumes list cases alphabetically by the official name of the case. For each case listed, citations are given to the court reporter(s) where the case has been published.
