Printing from Mac

  1. When you print from any Mac you will be prompted to choose a printer. For black and white print jobs, choose King B&W. For color, choose King Color. (Depending on where you are, the printer names will be slightly different. For instance, if you are at a regular computer station in King, it will be King B&W and King Color, while at the B.E.S.T. Library it will be titled Science or BEST.)

  2. Click print. At this point, your document has been sent to the Print Stations.
  3. The Print Station will display one of two things: a dialog box which says Welcome to Release Station. If it says this, click OK. The other screen you may see is a list of all of the print jobs. If you see this screen, click End Session and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.
  4. Now you will need to choose which Printer to send your document. For B&W print jobs you can choose any of the printers. For color choose one of the B&W/Color printers. Take note of which number your printer is and locate that printer to gather your print job. The printers are labeled with their numbers.
  5. Once you’ve chose which printer to utilize, the print jobs will appear. Find and select your print jobs and click Print at the bottom of the screen.
