- What is
ERIC?
- ERIC - Dataware
Tutorial* will help you
do an actual real-time ERIC search and is designed to familiarize you
with the Dataware Web Interface. It is recommended that you use the tutorial,
before you preform your own search. The Dataware Web Interface is using the
database from OhioLINK. You can end the tutorial at any time by changing your
World Wide Web location or exiting your web browser.
- This tutorial shows you the search process involved in obtaining
citations about journal articles (CIJE); however, it can also be used to
search for ERIC documents (RIE).
- * Access to the full ERIC tutorial is only available
to OhioLINK member Libraries, however those without access can use
the outline
demonstrating the step by step use of ERIC.
- Tests in Print (TIP) is a bibliographic
encyclopedia of information on published and commercially available tests
in psychology, education, and achievement. TIP was created to serve as a
master index to the whole MMY reference series on tests. Each entry in TIP
consists of detailed information designed to help you obtain either the
test itself or more information about the test. Published by the Buros
Institute of Mental Measurements located at the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln.
- The Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY)
is a series of indexes to standardized assessment instruments or tests. It
contains brief summaries of tests as well as detailed reviews about
them. Each edition contains information on the most recent tests that
have been published or revised since the publication of the previous
volumes. For complete information, all relevant yearbooks should be
consulted. Published by the Buros Institute.
- This reference series has multiple uses:
- To determine if a particular test exists,
- To determine information about a test,
- To determine if a particular test is published and available,
- To locate reviews of a particular test,
- To locate references which cite or use a particular test.
