The Alumni Association partners with the Libraries to provide ProQuest's Wall Street Journal and EbscoHost's Academic Search Alumni Edition to its members through their
web site.
The Miami University Partnership Office helps the Libraries and many other University organizations by cultivating and extending school/university partnerships and growing partnerships between Miami and community/social service agencies.
In October, Miami will proudly open the Roger and Joyce Howe Student Center for Writing Excellence. The Centers mission will be to help all Miami students, even the most accomplished, enhance their writing ability and learn more through writing. Made possible by a magnificent gift of $10.5 million from Roger and Joyce Howe, the center is now being constructed in the middle of the main floor of King Library.
ASG and the Parents' Council contribute money needed to support the
Textbooks on Reserve initiative,
which supports President David Hodge's Access Project by making available copies of textbooks from some of the most heavily enrolled courses available on reserve in King Library.
IMS operates a
Classroom/Lab and a usability testing facility housed on the Ground Floor of King Library.
IT Services assistance is available from the King Library Information Desk during
peak hours
Operated by Housing, Dining and Guest Services, the Cafe, located on the lower level of King Library and open during
many of the hours King Library is open, brews Starbucks Coffee. Enjoy deli sandwiches to order, garden fresh salads and fruits or one of our fabulous treats from the Bakery at Miami University. Smoothies and a variety of bottled beverages complete your dining experience.
To provide police presence on the Western side of campus, the Miami University Police operate a substation located on the Ground Floor of King Cafe.
